Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2026

We use a small number of cookies to keep e-Expat running smoothly and to understand how it is used. We do not run advertising trackers.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies let websites remember your preferences and recognise returning visitors.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

These keep you signed in, store your locale preference, and protect the site from abuse. They cannot be turned off without breaking the service.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful and where users get stuck. No personal profiles are built.

3. Third parties

  • Stripe — fraud prevention during checkout.
  • Supabase — authentication session.

4. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Be aware that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing a purchase.
